MADISON — Attorney General Peg Lautenschlager will join State Senator Jeff Plale (D-Milwaukee) at a news conference tomorrow. They will call for “False Claim” legislation similar to existing federal law, to create legal protections against civil fraud in collections of state government contracts – such as the state Medicaid Program. A much-needed state law would result in a substantial increase to Wisconsin’s Medicaid fraud recoveries.
