MADISON, WI. — Something never before seen in Madison has arrived on the Beltline. Adams Outdoor Advertising has built the first ever LED billboard in the Madison market. Commuters, residents and visitors using the Beltline Highway will see the newest digital LED technology utilized for the oldest advertising medium.
“This is the future of outdoor advertising and Adams Outdoor Advertising is excited to bring it to Madison” said Chris Eigenberger, General Manager of Adams Outdoor. “The fluid nature of the board will have a huge impact on both our industry and our community.”
The impact goes beyond advertising as Adams Outdoor will be teaming with local law enforcement agencies to offer another outlet for Amber Alert messages.
“Getting the word out to as many people in the shortest time possible is so vitally important in abduction cases. We can have a message on the LED billboard within minutes of getting an alert”, said Eigenberger.
The new digital billboard is located on the South side of the Beltline between the Rimrock Road and John Nolen Drive exits. The Traffic Audit Bureau estimates over 71,000 people on average view this location on a daily basis.
