MILWAUKEE – Zeppos & Associates, Incorporated today announced that it has received seven 2004 Paragon Awards from the Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for the firm’s work in community relations, public affairs, special event planning, publicity and crisis management.
“We are honored to receive these awards and have our team recognized for its achievements,” said Kris Naidl, executive vice president of the firm. “It acknowledges the hard work our team puts forth for our clients.”
Zeppos & Associates earned four Paragon Awards of Excellence and three Paragon Awards of Merit in the following categories:
· Community Relations – for organizing outreach efforts in the clean-up of Little Lake Butte des Morts in the Fox Valley;
· Crisis Communications – for helping to rename the Milwaukee College Preparatory School;
· Marketing Consumer Products – for planning the Blockbuster Entertainment release of the video game Halo 2;
· Public Affairs – for coordinating efforts to help bring an entertainment center and casino to Kenosha;
· Special Events – for helping plan and stage a block party for the grand opening of Roundy’s Metro Market grocery store, and for creating the world’s largest floating flag for the Wisconsin State Cranberry Growers Association; and
· Miscellaneous – for arranging a satellite media tour from New York City that announced a major donation from Wisconsin’s Prescott Family Foundation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, the Waisman Center in Madison and the Wisconsin Parkinson Association.
The 2004 PRSA Paragon Awards were announced at a ceremony on May 24, 2005, in Milwaukee.
