October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. During the last week of October (the 23rd through the 31st) Wisconsinmade.com (an internet based specialty food and gift store that sells exclusively Wisconsin products made with pride and passion by the artisans of Wisconsin) will donate 10% of its sales to the Wisconsin based Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation. Log on to www.wisconsinmade.com during Oct 23-31 and know that with your purchase you are contributing to the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation.

Founded by Ann Haney, the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation (BCRF) provides environments for women to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically from breast cancer. Through its flagship program, Infinite Boundaries, the BCRF offers four-day wellness retreats for women diagnosed with breast cancer. Two Infinite Boundaries retreats are scheduled to take place near West Bend, Wisconsin, September 15 – 18 and October 27 – 30. The BCRF also sponsors awareness and educational programs, including the annual Sharing the Knowledge conference. The conference, designed for breast cancer survivors, caregivers and oncology professionals, is scheduled for November 5, 2005 at the Alliant Energy Center, Madison.

“This is just one small way that I can support a great Wisconsin organization that has contributed so much to women surviving with breast cancer,” says Linda Remeschatis, Wisconsinmade.com founder and breast cancer survivor.
