October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Founded by Ann Haney, the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation (BCRF) provides environments for women to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically from breast cancer. Through its flagship program, Infinite Boundaries, the BCRF offers four-day wellness retreats for women diagnosed with breast cancer. Two Infinite Boundaries retreats are scheduled to take place near West Bend, Wisconsin, September 15 – 18 and October 27 – 30. The BCRF also sponsors awareness and educational programs, including the annual Sharing the Knowledge conference. The conference, designed for breast cancer survivors, caregivers and oncology professionals, is scheduled for November 5, 2005 at the Alliant Energy Center, Madison.
