MILWAUKEE – Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. announced today that attorney Douglas Pessefall has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office Corporate Transactions and Business Law practice.

Pessefall focuses on taxation and general business law. His practice encompasses federal and state controversy, and state and local tax planning. Pessefall also works with tax-exempt organizations.

“Douglas is an accomplished tax attorney who adds expertise in federal and state tax issues to our firm,” said Michael Klinker, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, vice president.

Pessefall is a member of the American Bar Association, Wisconsin State Bar and co-chair of the Taxation Section of the Milwaukee Bar Association. Pessefall is an accomplished author and presenter on topics including property tax and sales and use tax.

Pessefall is a 2002 graduate of the John Marshall Law School. He also holds a B.A. degree from the University of Dayton.
