MADISON – Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C., announced today that attorney Daniel McGarry has joined the firm’s Madison office bankruptcy and reorganization practice.

McGarry focuses on advising and consulting financially troubled enterprises. This includes every variety of state and federal insolvency proceedings, Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcies, workouts and restructurings. McGarry has represented lenders, creditors, committees, suppliers, lessors, purchasers, equity holders, corporate and individual creditors and debtors.

“Daniel is an accomplished bankruptcy attorney who adds key expertise in litigation, creditors and bankruptcy law to our practice,” said Michael Klinker, Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, vice president.

McGarry is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and chairperson of the ALFA International Bankruptcy Practice Group, and a contributing editor to Pratt’s Journal of Bankruptcy Law.

McGarry is a 1997 graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law. He also holds a B.A. degree from St. John’s University.
