Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation: launches Season III of Conversactions

Pewaukee, WI August 25, 2005 – Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation launches Season III of CONVERSACTIONS, its successful series of discussions, followed by measurable outcomes, of business challenges facing Waukesha County and Southeastern Wisconsin.

“The Season III series has been fine-tuned to allow more focused discussions,” said Bill Mitchell, WCEDC’s Executive Director.

The new season lineup of topics are: Brain Gain: Identifying Knowledge-Based Opportunities in SE Wisconsin – September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21st. Regional Promotion: Welcoming New Businesses to Waukesha County – October 11, November 8, December 13, and January 10, 2006. Technological Competitiveness: Connecting Industries to Innovative Resources – November 3, December 1, January 5 and February 2nd. Economic NIMBY: Alerting Communities to the Civic Value of Business Growth – January 24, 2006, February 28, March 28 and April 25th. Successful Ideas: Helping Entrepreneurs Build Their Business Network – February 9, 2006, March 9, April 13 and May 11th.
