Racine’s own Alfonso Gardner featured in the April 2005 issue of Wisconsin Trails magazine.
Wisconsin Trails magazine is starting a new feature titled “Role Model” and are kicking it off with The Racine/Kenosha Economic Inclusion Coalition’s founder. The Coalition helps train unemployed residents and help them find construction jobs.
“Everyone says they have a calling to do something in life,” Gardner says. “I have found mine, which is to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to employment. I think it’s what God put me down here to do.”
