SUN PRAIRIE, Wisconsin, April 7, 2005 – In late 2004, Trachte Building Systems completed a 26,750 square foot manufacturing plant expansion. The addition to its 100,000 square foot facility has positioned Trachte and its subsidiaries for growth in the self-storage and roll-up door industries. The company plans for a total expansion of 61,000 square feet, which will occur over the next few years.
In early 2004, Trachte acquired a neighboring facility, which spans 36,000 square feet across five acres. Trachte will occupy this new building in November 2005. Named the Trachte Enterprise Center, the building will house the company’s research and development area as well as space for several office personnel.
Jeff Seefeldt, President and COO of Trachte states, “we are excited to be growing the company at this time. With the new addition to our plant and the added capital investment in equipment, we have increased capacity to deliver material and service more proficiently to our customers. The purchase of our neighboring facility was a five-star acquisition for the company. It will keep our manufacturing operations under one roof and provide excellent logistics between our various companies. Both initiatives will allow Trachte and Trac-Rite Door to remain at our current location in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, for many years.”
