SUN PRAIRIE, Wisconsin, June 27, 2005 – Trachte Building Systems is pleased to announce the following transitions:
Arik Holt, former Production Planner in Trachte’s PIC department, has recently been promoted to the position of to Purchasing Agent. In his position, Arik is in charge of procurement of building products as well as vendor management. Arik brings a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management and previous experience as a Production Supervisor with Kraft Foods/Oscar Mayer to his position. He is also an active member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Bob Martin has accepted the position of Manufacturing Technician. In this position, Bob’s main duties are to utilize the Manfact system to release and route work orders, create bills of operations, and program CNC machines. Since his employment with Trachte seven years ago, Bob has been very involved in setting up and fine tuning the Samco rollformer to get it to the speed and capacity at which it runs today. Bob’s extensive hands-on experience from the production floor will continue to aid in the growth of the company.
Chris O’Hearn has joined Trachte’s sales team as Logistics Coordinator. In this position, Chris is responsible for coordinating deliveries, maintaining shipping schedules, and communicating delivery specifications with both the customers and the shipping department. Chris has been with Trachte for the past two and a half years, previously holding a position in Trac-Rite’s manufacturing department.
