FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Milwaukee based digital media design firm The Spin Group, Inc. has enjoyed global recognition of the resources section of its company website. The Spin Group has compiled a collection of articles, case studies and presentations that focus on four key topics in the digital media industry. Those topics include accessibility, e-learning, internet & web development and usability.

The Spin Group has received the stamp of approval from usability guru Jakob Neilsen as a recommended website of resources for effective and usable design . Mr. Neilsen placed a link to the Spin Group resources section on his Hotlist (http://www.useit.com/hotlist) of recommended websites.

Several Universities have also linked to the resources section to provide research assistance to their students. Among them are the Catholic University Leuven Belgium (http://www.soc.kuleuven.ac.be/com/mediac/ud/praktisch/links.htm), the Computer Science Departments of both the University of Southern California (http://www-scf.usc.edu/~csci588/link12.html) & the University of Rome, Italy (http://www.dsi.uniroma1.it/~estrinfo/progetto2003.htm), and Indiana University IT Services Department (http://www.indiana.edu/~usable/usability_resources.html). The International Internet Marketing Association (http://www.iimaonline.org/usig_intro.html#intro) also links to the Spin Group Resources section as an introductory usability resource.

The resource section of the Spin Group website was developed by Information Architect Conrad Ayala. The intention to develop the resources section of the Spin Group website was mainly to help support me when I needed to find specific information about a usability issue , stated Ayala.

There are over 1,000 articles in the Spin Group resources database. New articles are added several times a week. It is good to see that this resource is a tool that has been utilized by quite a few people whether for research purposes or as a reference in their daily work , said Ayala.

The resources database can be accessed at http://www.spingroup.com/htmdocs/resources/index.php.
