RedPrairie suite of products will enhance its competitive position in the Northern European 3PL market
Stokenchurch, UK – RedPrairie Corporation, a global leader in supply chain technology solutions that enable business process transformation, announced today that DFDS Transport Solutions will implement RedPrairie’s solutions suite as part of its strategic supply chain initiative. DFDS Transport Solutions, a leader in the 3PL northern European market, plans to implement the solution across its distribution network serving over 650 clients beginning in the fourth quarter of this year.
To date DFDS Transport Solutions have been using their own developed legacy system but will now implement RedPrairie DLx® Warehouse to improve logistics performance and customer service; DLx® Labor to achieve greater operating efficiency and planning; and BillingCtl™ for automated and accurate billing of third party logistics (3PL) services to clients; and DutyMaster™ for automated customs management. The new system will be fully implemented in December 2006.

The DFDS Transport Solutions multi-national evaluation team unanimously selected RedPrairie to replace their limited and outdated legacy WMS solutions and supplant their manual environments.
