RedPrairie Corporation: RedPrairie Solution to Optimize Gildan Supply Chain

Waukesha, WI – RedPrairie Corporation, a global leader in supply chain technology solutions that enable business process transformation, announced today that Gildan, a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium quality branded basic apparel, has implemented RedPrairie’s DLx® Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) at its new distribution facility in Eden, NC and plans to implement the solutions in additional sites. Gildan is based in Montreal and distributes goods throughout Canada, the US, Europe and other international markets.

RedPrairie WMS will optimize distribution for Gildan’s growing business and will provide capabilities for their entry into the retail market, including tracking capabilities and compliance labeling. Gildan is also in the process of implementing RedPrairie DLx® Labor for workforce performance optimization.

Comments Peter Schnorbach, Vice President of Product Marketing for RedPrairie, “RedPrairie’s DLx Labor is unique in the supply chain marketplace. It helps companies improve labor productivity by tracking the efficiency of individual tasks and driving operational improvement. Instead of simply measuring efficiency, RedPrairie is able to tell ‘how’ a task should be completed to maximize productivity. Discrete standards are then applied, which quantify individual moves at a finite level to determine actual job standards.”
