COMPETITION SPOTLIGHTS THE BEST OF THE WORLD’S DESIGNS BY THE BEST INTERNATIONAL DESIGNERS AND MANUFACTURERS

MADISON, Wis. (February 7, 2005) — The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design has selected five pieces created by Madison-based communication company Planet Propaganda for a 2004 Good Design Award: Wisconsin Film Festival 2004 campaign posters, Madison band P’elvis Klinic poster and JetBlackItalic CD Packaging, packaging for Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches’ Jimmy Chips, and identity for Madison retail shop Dick & Jane.

Only 46 graphic designs and over 300 products, from an airplane to a paper clip, were selected from hundreds of submissions spanning over 30 countries. A distinguished jury of recognized experts in the corporate and design world selected recent designs worthy of the Good Design Award, attesting to the design energy, vitality, and current innovation in global design today. A list of the 2004 Awards can be found on the Museum’s website at www.chi-athenaeum.org
