Planet Propaganda: Hires Four From Madison

(Madison, Wis.) – Four new staff members from hometown Madison, Wis. have joined Planet Propaganda: Travis Cain as a designer, Nathan Clarke and Evan Hartman as production designers and Mimi Whitney as estimator/buyer.

Together with their colleagues at Planet, they shape such passion-based brands as Gary Fisher mountain bikes, Bretford furniture and workspaces, and PunchStock royalty-free images.

Travis Cain, Designer
Cain earned a bachelor’s degree in design and art from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an M.F.A. in design from the School of Visual Arts, N.Y. Before his return to hometown Madison, Wis., Cain worked at PowellNY as a designer, and at Kiehl’s in New York City designing store windows.

Nathan Clarke, Production Designer
Clarke’s previous employment has included positions in electronic prepress for Ideal Printing and as graphic designer for Capital Newspapers. He has a degree in technical communications management from University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Evan Hartman, Production Designer
Originally from Fort Atkinson, Wis., Hartman moved to Madison where he earned a degree in visual communications from Madison Area Technical College. He most recently worked as a production specialist at Highsmith Inc.

Mimi Whitney, Estimator/Buyer
Experienced in electronic production, file preparation and print/art buying, Whitney has worked with three Madison-based advertising agencies as well as with a stock photography and creative resource provider. She holds degrees in commercial art from Madison Area Technical College and public relations/advertising from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
