Planet Propaganda: Adds Wade Breaux as Brand Manager

(Madison, Wis.) – Planet Propaganda has added Wade Breaux as a brand manager responsible for shaping such passion-based brands as Gary Fisher mountain bikes, Bretford furniture, and PunchStock royalty-free images.

With more than a decade of marketing experience, Breaux most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Michigan-based Stormy Kromer Mercantile and its brand of men’s outdoor apparel. Previously, he worked at Hanson Dodge Design in Milwaukee in new business development and as an account supervisor for such clients as Trek bikes, the U.S. President’s Challenge on Fitness, and global financial services company Credit Suisse Group. Prior to this, Breaux was an account supervisor with Chicago’s Slack Barshinger. At the time, the communications agency was the city’s largest firm exclusively serving such business-to-business accounts as NutraSweet, the Milk Marketing Board and Nestlé.

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, La., Breaux now lives in Madison, Wis., where he earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin in political science. He also received a Juris Doctorate from University of Kansas College of Law. Leaving behind the legal field in 1994, he leveraged his playwriting and copywriting skills to pursue a career in brand management.
