Madison, Wis., November 3, 2005 – Two executives from Madison printer part distributor Parts Now! shared their knowledge with LaFollette High School students October 13. VP of Sales and Marketing Kevin Guy and VP of Business Development Jason Jensen led a presentation about market research to a “Starting Your Own Business” class, a course coordinated by the Madison-based Business & Education Partnership, Inc.
The class, made up of LaFollette juniors and seniors, exposes students to the fundamentals of the American economy, as well as the basics of entrepreneurship. Over 2,500 students have completed the class since its inception in 1981, some of which have started a business in the Madison area after graduation.
Guy was happy to share some of his real-world experience with the students. “As a member of the Madison business community, Parts Now! is proud to be able to give something back, as well as participate in the growth of the leaders of tomorrow,” he said.
