MyWeather, LLC: Announces New Executive Team

Kevin Baird and Val Landi Hired to Lead New Media and Technology Initiatives

Madison, WI, June 28, 2005 – MyWeather, LLC, the leader in client-branded weather solutions, has named two key leadership positions to drive new initiatives. Kevin Baird has been named president of MyWeather, and Val Landi has joined as chief marketing officer.

Baird brings to MyWeather extensive experience in online content, sales and marketing. Before joining MyWeather, Baird led sales and operations as vice president of Renaissance Learning, one of the world’s largest K-12 technology companies. Prior to Renaissance, Baird held executive positions in retailing and health care, and worked with former Wisconsin Governor Martin Schreiber in public affairs. He holds degrees from Carleton College and is a frequent technology conference speaker.

Landi served as executive vice president of International Data Group (IDG), the global information-technology publisher, and as chief marketing officer at Looksmart, the Internet search firm, through IPO. Most recently Landi has served as CEO of Redband Broadcasting, a Sony Internet Venture, and chief marketing officer for Ecosphere Technologies. He holds degrees from Northern Michigan and Harvard.
