Madison, WI – Murphy Desmond S.C. employees participated in the Salvation Army’s project to “adopt” a family in need for the holidays. Employees at the law firm contributed hundreds of dollars to purchase a specific list of gifts for a single mother and her four children, including basic necessities like gloves, hats, pots, pans and dishes, as well as toys on the children’s wish lists.

In addition, employees contributed gently used toys and collected enough food for an entire Christmas dinner, including a turkey, side dishes and baked goods.

After purchasing all gifts for the family of five, Murphy Desmond contributed the remaining $150 to Toys for Tots.

“Employees at Murphy Desmond realize that there are people in the Madison area who have financial needs during the holidays, and we are more than happy to help out,” said Tim Valentyn, firm president.
