Brad DeRosa Joins Front Office as new Vice President of Business Development & Jenny Gryniewicz is Promoted to Vice President of Sales

MILWAUKEE (Friday, August 26, 2005) – Milwaukee Wave Chief Operating Officer Mike Lafferty announced today the hiring of Brad DeRosa as the Vice President of Business Development, and the promotion of Jenny Gryniewicz to Vice President of Sales. DeRosa steps into the position previously held by former Wave player, Brian Loftin, who accepted an offer with the Chicago Storm of the MISL as its new Chief Operating Officer.

“Brad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organization both from a leadership and business development standpoint,” states Lafferty. “Having served as the Executive Director for one of the countries largest youth soccer clubs (Milwaukee Kickers), Brad understands the landscape of soccer in Southeastern Wisconsin and will build on the growth experienced during Brian’s tenure.”

Originally from Denver, Colo., DeRosa earned his Masters Degree in Sports Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to accepting the position with the Milwaukee Kickers, he worked as the Sales and Marketing Director for an international manufacturing firm out of Slinger, Wis. (MBW, Inc.). He currently resides in Slinger and has two children, Josie (6) and Kenna (3).

“Hiring Brad and promoting Jenny were natural moves for this organization to make. Jenny has made a huge impact within this organization and community in a short amount of time,” remarked Lafferty. “Her dedication and hard work has earned her this new title, and the respect of everyone she works with.”

Gryniewicz’s previous title was Director of Ticket Sales. She has been in charge of tickets and sales for the Milwaukee Wave and Wave United since December 2004. Before joining the Wave, Gryniewicz was the Executive Director of Cream City Foundation.

The Milwaukee Wave is a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League and was established in 1984. Through the guidance of head coach Keith Tozer, the winningest coach in Wave and North American indoor soccer history, the Wave has won four league titles (1997-98, 99-2000, 2000-01 and 2004-05), six Regular Season Championships, and has made seven Championship Series appearances. The Wave plays at home in the U.S. Cellular Arena located in downtown Milwaukee.
