NEENAH, Wis. (September 2, 2005)—A convoy of Michels Power employees and equipment are on their way to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild the electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure and assist in clean up after Hurricane Katrina devastated more than 400 miles of coast line earlier this week.

Thirty employees and 24 trucks, including diggers, pole trailers and bucket trucks, left Michels Power’s Neenah headquarters yesterday. They are expected to arrive in Jackson, Miss., this evening. Michels Power is a division of Brownsville-based Michels Corporation.
