Milwaukee, WI, April 19, 2005 – Merge eFilm (NASDAQ: MRGE), a leading
global healthcare software and services company, today announced the
release of FUSION RIS and RIS/PACS Version 2.55, providing seamless
integration with the recently released elligence 3.0 billing module. This
release supports the workflow-efficient capabilities of RIS, PACS, Digital

Management, which can be accessed throughout the enterprise from a single,
unified end-user desktop application.

The elligence 3.0 software, created by Data Strategies, Inc., includes a
complete set of accounts receivable management tools designed to give
imaging practices the ability to maintain a steady, high level of cash flow
and quickly diagnose cash flow interruptions or delays, thereby enabling a
significantly shorter reimbursement cycle. In addition, this release
improves the efficiency of accounts receivable case managers, and provides
the ability to evaluate their individual performance.

“We recently implemented FUSION RIS 2.55 and elligence 3.0, and the
integrated workflow has had a significant positive impact on our workflow,”
said Shanda Coomes Bland, Chief Operating Officer of Radiology & Diagnostic
Imaging, Owensboro, Kentucky. “Our radiologists are very pleased with the
improved efficiencies of the integrated workflow, and we have already seen
the positive cash flow from utilization of the collections capabilities.

“The convenience and value of a single, integrated RIS/PACS workflow
solution with a strong billing and collections capability ensures that our
