Merge eFilm: Radiologix Expands Purchase of Merge eFilm Fusion RIS/PACS

– Next Phase of
Implementation Focuses on Bay Area Imaging Centers –

Milwaukee, WI, April 26, 2005- Merge Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ:
MRGE), d.b.a. Merge eFilm, today announced an expanded contract with
Radiologix, Inc. a leading national provider of diagnostic imaging
services, for the purchase of FUSION RIS/PACS for its operations in the San
Francisco Bay area.

With the expanded contract, Radiologix will continue to migrate its
operations from separate image transfer and information systems to the
FUSION RIS/PACS system, as it has in its Northeast region. FUSION RIS/PACS
serves as the foundation for standard operating procedures for Radiologix’s
centers, creating a nation-wide operating model of best practices.
