Jennifer Hassrick, a fine art photographer best known for capturing moments and transforming them into stunning art images, will showcase the diversity of her portrait work and unveil unique products that elegantly display and preserve your priceless photographs: Giclée fine art prints; handcrafted leather albums and mats; handmade albums and folios from Japanese bookbinding fabric and paper; and beautiful black-and-white images hand-printed on fiber-based paper.
Hassrick studied at the Maine Workshops, an internationally renowned center for creative photography and imagery. She received prizes from the 2003 Wisconsin Press Women’s Art Competition and was accepted into the PhotoMidwest regional juried exhibition. Locally she has shown her documentary fine art exhibitions: “The Island: Images of Zanzibar” and “The Culture of Organic Farming.”
In addition to her portrait and documentary work, she photographs weddings throughout the United States and teaches workshops on Polaroid manipulation and photographing children at Southwest Wisconsin’s Valley Ridge Art Studio, Wausau’s Lee Yawkey Museum, and other venues throughout Wisconsin.
