Inacom Information Systems, a leading Microsoft Gold Certified partner, is pleased to announce that it has been specially selected to present at the Microsoft “midmarket” Business Summit in Redmond, WA on September 7th. This is an extremely high profile event where both Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer will be personally involved in rolling out Microsoft’s vision and value proposition for the “midmarket” customer segment. In attendance there will be 300 US “midmarket” CIOs along with 75 partners and more than 100 press and analysts from around the world.

The format of the event is to have Microsoft executives offer keynote addresses in the morning and partners leading scenario-based breakout sessions in the afternoon. All of the sessions will be broadcast live to 55 customer events in the US and Europe, and the content will be repurposed at many other MS “midmarket” events throughout the year.

At the Business Summit event Microsoft will be introducing a cross-company scenario framework that includes 5 categories: Sales and Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT Infrastructure, and Empowered Professionals. The goal is to showcase the Microsoft “Better Together” story in a cross-product way as told by partners. Microsoft will also be releasing a study that was done in affiliation with a research firm and Harvard Business School that shows that “midmarket” firms who use software to automate processes in these scenario areas grow faster than firms that do not use technology in this manner.

Inacom has been nominated to present the IT Infrastructure scenario. Accordingly, Bryan Bechtoldt, Vice President Information Management Services and Learning Solutions, at Inacom will provide a detailed “walk through” of a case study of how Inacom enabled a “midmarket” customer to transform themselves into a much more profitable, cost-effective organization via the implementation of several key MS technologies, including Exchange 2003, SMS, and MOM 2003. As Bryan will discuss, Inacom’s provided a complete “end-to-end” solution, including initial IT “discovery” analysis, network (re-)design and architecture services, installation and support services, and ongoing training services.

Also noted will be how Inacom leveraged its existing partnerships with Software ONE, a Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR), and Network Engines, a Microsoft technology partner, specializing in “security appliances” (ISA Server) to ensure that this client was able to obtain the greatest possible value from its investments in IT.

“It is a tremendous honor for Inacom to be selected for this opportunity to meet with the senior leadership of Microsoft, and present to top ‘midmarket’ IT executives at this key event,” stated Bechtoldt. “We continue to take great pride in our ability to provide outstanding value to our clients through the delivery of comprehensive Microsoft technology solutions, and are very much looking forward to expanding our service offerings with the release of SQL 2005 later this year,” he also noted.

Other MS partners who will be presenting include Tectura for Finance, Iteration2 for Operations, ePartners for Sales & Marketing and Interlink for Empowered Employees.
