MILWAUKEE, WI (January 21, 2005). The law firm of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. announced the addition of Todd W. Martin to their Insurance and Employee Benefits Practice Groups in the Appleton, Madison (LaFollette Godfrey & Kahn), and Green Bay offices.

Martin has ten years of experience as an attorney, focusing his practice on insurance and employee benefits work for insurers, employers and third-party administrators.

Martin has significant experience in legal issues associated with health insurance and health and welfare benefit plans. He also provides advice regarding pension plans, deferred compensation and employee benefits matters associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Martin spent more than seven years in the corporate legal department of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and also served on the merger team for the merger of Fortune 500 Fraternal Benefit Societies, Aid Association for Lutherans and Lutheran Brotherhood. He has continued to be actively involved in advising Fraternal Benefit Societies and other insurers.

Martin received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Wisconsin Lutheran College.
