NBC 15 and Food Fight restaurants team up to fight cancer. On Tuesday, March 29th, Food Fight will donate $1.00 for each meal purchased at any of their restaurants throughout the day. Food Fight’s sponsorship supports Team 15 of NBC 15, participating in this year’s Madison Run/Walk on Saturday, April 9th. All funds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Monty’s Blue Plate Diner will be opening at 6 am (one hour earlier than normal) on Tuesday, March 29th to help kick-off this event. NBC 15 Today morning program will be interviewing Food Fight President, Monty Schiro between 6 am -7 am live at Monty’s Blue Plate Diner.
Participating restaurants include Monty’s Blue Plate Diner, Ocean Grill, Luna Caffe, Bluephies, Hubbard Avenue Diner, Eldorado Grill, Johnny Delmonico’s and Firefly. Hours vary at each location. Please visit www.foodfightinc.com for hours of operation and menus.
The Madison Run/Walk will be held at Warner Park on Saturday, April 9th. Registration from 8:30 am – 10 am, $15 advance, $20 day of event. Run/Walk from 10 am – 2 pm. Visit www.madisonrunwalk.org for more information.
