First Business Bank of Madison opened its doors on April 1, 1990 as one of the first Business Banks in the Midwest – only one of a handful in the country at that time. First Business Bank was the first to introduce business-focused services such as no-cost courier pick up, sweep accounts, and indexed money market accounts to local businesses and business executives. First Business has expanded over the past 15 years. In 1995, First Business Capital Corp., an asset-based lending company, was formed.
