Dept. of Commerce: Gov. Doyle Announces Funding For Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc.

MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that Crystal Finishing Systems,
Inc. of Weston, Marathon County, will receive $200,000 in Technology Zone
tax credits to help them with a $900,000 investment to expand and equip
their facility. This project will create 45 jobs and retain 183 jobs.

“Through my Grow Wisconsin plan, we are working hard to invest in our
economy and help our manufacturing companies expand, upgrade, and create new
jobs,” Governor Doyle said. “I am pleased that the state can help Crystal
Finishing Systems, Inc. expand its facility and create good jobs for
Marathon County.”

Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc. specializes in custom powder coating of
steel, aluminum, and plastic.

“Crystal Finishing Systems is successful in this highly-competitive industry
because of its ability to deliver the highest quality products and
services,” said Wausau/Marathon County Chamber of Commerce Economic
Development Director Neil Marciniak.

Crystal Finishing Systems, Inc. is in the North Central Advantage Technology
Zone, which provides incentives for high-tech growth in Business Services,
Paper/Forestry, and Agriculture/Food Production, among others. The North
Central Advantage Technology zone includes the counties of Adams, Forest,
Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Portage, Oneida, Vilas, and Wood.
