Dept. of Commerce: Gov. Doyle Announces Dairy 2020 and Rural Economic Development Grants

MADISON – Governor Jim Doyle today announced that 14 Wisconsin businesses
will share $40,478 in planning grant funding from the Department of Commerce
Dairy 2020 Program and the Rural Economic Development (RED) Program.

“My Grow Wisconsin Initiative calls for promoting economic development,”
Governor Doyle said. “Both of these programs provide professional planning
assistance as dairy producers, business owners, and entrepreneurs consider
starting-up or expanding their businesses.”

The projects are as follows:
