Dept. of Commerce: Bootstrapping Your Businesses Addresses Business Strategies for Entrepreneurs

MADISON – Entrepreneurs interested in establishing a new business without start-up capital will want to attend the Bootstrapping Your Business conference to be held at the Italian Conference Center in Milwaukee on Sept. 22 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm.

“Bootstrapping Your Business is a great way for entrepreneurs to learn different strategies for creating a business without start-up capital,” said Department of Commerce Secretary Mary P. Burke. “Adopting and implementing innovative business practices is an important component in sustaining Wisconsin’s economic vitality.”

The meeting will feature Greg Gianforte, CEO of RightNow Technologies and author of “Bootstrapping Your Business.” Gianforte will share stories of entrepreneurs that have grown sizable businesses with little or no money.

This meeting is being sponsored by Department of Commerce, WE Energies, Wisconsin Technology Network, Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation, eInnovate, Wisconsin Economic Development Association, Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Network, Information Technology Association of Wisconsin, and Wisconsin Innovation Network – Milwaukee.
