Madison, Wisconsin (February 1, 2005) – Bock Water Heaters, a manufacturer of quality crafted water heaters and storage tanks, announces the addition of a new powder coat paint system to their manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin.

This state-of-the-art equipment allows Bock to offer their customers a superior paint finish on their complete line of high quality products. Initially, all parts pass through an automated phosphate wash to clean the surface, then enter a drying oven to remove any excess moisture. These steps help provide the best possible bonding surface for the paint. The powder coat paint is then applied to the appropriate surfaces of the parts, which then then travel through the main baking oven, completing the process. The baked on, high-gloss powder coating is durable and highly resistant to scratching, chipping and fading. It contains no harmful solvents and releases safe levels of volatile organic compounds, making this process environmentally friendly. In addition, the company offers contract painting services to regional OEM accounts and can accommodate parts up to 60 inches in length and 36 inches in diameter.

Since 1929, Bock Water Heaters has been manufacturing a full line of high quality, high efficiency products including: oil-fired water heaters, gas-fired water heaters, dual-fuel water heaters, indirect coil tank water heaters and storage tanks. ASME certified tanks are also available. Bock’s exclusive C-glass® ceramic glass lining makes it highly resistant to aggressive water.
