High-Speed Data Network Links More Than 450 Restaurant Locations Nationwide

CHICAGO, Dec. 19, 2005 — AT&T Inc. announced today that it has won a three-year networking contract from Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc., a national chain of quick-service restaurants specializing in gourmet burritos and tacos. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The contract provides Chipotle with a custom networking solution that integrates more than 450 restaurant locations across 20 states. Chipotle will use the AT&T comprehensive networking solution to facilitate point-of-sale transactions, enhance customer service, reduce business costs and raise brand loyalty.

The AT&T networking solution provides Chipotle with reliable connectivity, which speeds customer service at the checkout counter, facilitates fast, efficient communications between the stores and provides superior network security to ensure that customer data is protected.

AT&T also provides Chipotle with local and long distance voice services for its regional offices nationwide.
