NEW YORK – Fashion apparel and accessories company Liz Claiborne Inc. has awarded AT&T a two-year, $3.2 million contract for networking services.

The contract provides Liz Claiborne with a custom networking solution that integrates 360 domestic locations, supports the company’s point-of-sale platform and supports improved customer relationship management capabilities, thanks to a three-fold increase in bandwidth.

“AT&T is providing us a robust mix of connectivity and equipment that will allow us to continue to roll out new, higher-bandwidth applications to improve our customers’ in-store experience,” said John Kovac, vice president of IT for Liz Claiborne Inc. “Our AT&T sales team worked with us to design a custom package that increases our bandwidth while keeping within our existing IT budget.”

AT&T also provides Liz Claiborne with local and long-distance voice services.
