MADISON, Wis.—Starting Wednesday, November 2, 2005, you can stop by any AnchorBank location and sign up to win a special “Morrie” piggy bank, Anchor’s official mascot. The giveaway is part of AnchorBank’s 32nd Annual Toy Drive, which starts on November 18th and runs through December 9. AnchorBank will be collecting toys for area children in need The toys collected will be distributed to local community organizations. Last year over 8,000 toys were collected at AnchorBank locations statewide.
“For the past 31 years our employees and customers have been buying toys for kids in their community as part of the AnchorBank Toy Drive, and we hope to continue that successful tradition again this year,” said Robert Halbleib, 1st vice president of AnchorBank’s Retail Division. “Now is a great time to get out shopping before the weather turns cold and snowy, and the stores fill with last minute shoppers.”
