            APPLETON, WI, — September 9, 2005 – Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC), operating as US Airways Express and United Express, reports traffic for August 2005.


            AWAC schedules more than 500 departures per day to 68 cities in 27 states and two Canadian provinces. The fleet includes 70 Canadair Regional Jets and 12 BAe-146 Jets.  In August 2005, AWAC joined the US Airways team as a US Airways Express carrier serving their Philadelphia hub. As United Express, AWAC feeds United Airlines at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, Denver International Airport and Washington’s Dulles International. Approximately 3,400 people make up the AWAC team.
