Hundreds of employees from the TDS family of companies voluntarily
raised $3,200 for the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation, Inc. during the
Fourth Annual TDS Charity Bowl at Schwoegler Park Towne Lanes in Madison,
“As a member of the Dane County community, TDS believes it’s
important to be good citizens and do what we can to give back to our friends
and neighbors whenever we can,” says Dave Wittwer, Executive Vice President
of Staff Operations and Chief Financial Officer for TDS Telecom. “Our
employees recognize what meaningful work is being done at the Breast Cancer
Recovery Foundation and we decided that all proceeds collected from this
year’s event should go to help support their programs,” adds Wittwer.
Founded in 1997 by Ann Haney, the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation,
Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Madison. Their mission is to
provide environments for women to heal emotionally, spiritually, and
physically from breast cancer.
“We hope this money will help the Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation
continue their efforts in providing such an important service to so many
women in our area,” says Wittwer.
