Madison, Wis. – August 25, 2004 – To more efficiently meet the needs of existing clients and prospective new clients, bensman|advertising|marketing, Inc. will merge with Russell Advertising & Marketing, Inc. The merger of the two Madison-based advertising agencies becomes effective October 1, 2004 to create Russell Bensman Marketing, Inc.
With expanded internal resources, the newly formed Russell Bensman Marketing, Inc. will represent both former entities’ combined accounts. “Our goal is to continue to provide top notch counsel and make a seamless transition for our clients,” says Russ Rothman, current president of Russell Advertising & Marketing, Inc. “We look forward to uniting forces and adding new areas of expertise.” Russell Advertising’s 25 year history – and benaman|advertising|marketing’s 20 year’s experience produce a brand-new agency that hits the street with 45 years of professional marketing expertise.
Today, as many companies are downsizing, Russell Bensman Marketing, Inc. is actually expanding services as well as the employee base. “Our employees are the core of our business,” says Gary Johnson, current president of bensman|advertising|marketing, Inc. “Through the merger no employees will lose their job.”
Rothman will serve as President of the new agency, while Johnson will hold the position of Vice President of Operations. Steve Knuteson will become Vice-President of Business Development.
The office will be located at the current bensman|advertising|marketing, Inc. address at 2984 Triverton Pike Drive in Fitchburg.
