MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Marcelo N. Corpuz, III has been named to Nightingale’s list of Outstanding Young Health Care Lawyers for 2004. Corpuz is an associate in the firm’s health care practice group.

Corpuz has experience representing individual physicians, physician practice groups, nursing homes, hospitals and more, and he has counseled clients regarding compliance with the Stark Act, Medicare Fraud and Abuse laws and state health care laws. Corpuz is also a frequent lecturer and author on various health care-related issues. He has been a featured speaker at the Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association’s Physicians and Physician Organization Law Institute on health care matters and serves as an editorial board member of the American Bar Association’s Health Lawyer publication.

Corpuz is a member of the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association. He is also listed in the 10th edition of Who’s Who in American Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and his masters and law degrees from George Washington University. Corpuz resides in Menomonee Falls.
