Planet Propaganda: Wins Best TV Spot For Jimmy John’s Taste Test TV Spot at Cineme Animation Festival

MADISON, WIS. — Madison-based communication company Planet Propaganda won the Best Media category at the recent CINEME International Animation Festival held on September 24 – 26 in Chicago. The winning piece was the “Jimmy John’s Taste Test” TV spot for sandwich franchise Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches. One of only nine awards from 2,400 entries submitted across all categories, the animated commercial gastronomically illustrates JJ’s superior taste. Planet Propaganda’s spot will be included in an upcoming compilation DVD available for sale and rental nationwide.


The mission of CINEME is to expand public appreciation of the art and craft of animation and create a forum where aesthetic and artistic excellence can be shared.
