Dept. of Commerce: Gov. Doyle Announces Business Project in Brown County

MADISON- Gov. Jim Doyle today announced that the Village of
Denmark, Brown County, will receive a $113,250 Community Development Block
Grant-Public Facilities for Economic Development (CDBG-PFED) from the
Department of Commerce (Commerce). The grant will help the community
construct water main to Milprint Incorporated. Milprint Incorporated prints
flexible packaging for the food industry.

“My Grow Wisconsin initiative promotes business development,” said Gov.
Doyle. “I am pleased that this award could be used to help the Village of
Denmark support the continued growth of Milprint Incorporated.”

“This project will retain 148 jobs and will represent public and
private investment totaling $980,700,” said Commerce Secretary Cory L.
Nettles.

The CDBG-PFED Program awards grants to communities that seek to provide
infrastructure for a particular business development project. For further
