Bicycle rack and accessory manufacturer Saris Cycling Group is generously hosting a fundraiser for the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin 6:00-8:30pm on November 15th at the Saris Cycling Group factory at 5253 Verona Road. Special guest US Postal Team member Floyd Landis will answer questions and sign autographs. Landis was a member of the team that helped Lance Armstrong to win his sixth Tour de France this past summer. A number of local elected officials have also been invited to attend the event and the Madison band Jim James and the Damn Shames will perform.
The fundraiser will include a silent auction that will feature many high quality items from Trek Corporation, Pacific Cycle, Planet Bike, Bell, Park Tool, Saris Cycling Group, and many local businesses. All attendees will be eligible for a drawing for a Trek Travel Trip for two!
With this fundraiser Saris Cycling Group continues to show its strong support of bicycle advocacy and education. The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational and advocacy organization working to make Wisconsin a better place to bicycle.
The recommended minimum donation for the event is $25. All proceeds go to the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin.
