Oconomowoc, Wis. –First Bank Financial Centre (FBFC) has been named a finalist in BizTimes
Media LLC’s Nonprofit Excellence Awards.

The finalists will be recognized at a breakfast event on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Italian Community
Center, 631 E. Chicago St., from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

The awards are designed to shine a light on the community impact of southeastern Wisconsin
nonprofits. The program also salutes the work of for-profit organizations, executives and
professionals who donate their time, talent and treasure to community causes.

More than 100 nominations were submitted for the program this year, and twenty-six finalists
were named in eight different categories. An overall winner in each category will be announced
the morning of the event.

FBFC employees spend nearly 15,000 hours annually volunteering with over 300 local non-
profit organizations. Additionally, FBFC has donated over $1 million to local organizations over
the last five years.

“Our mission statement is ‘Make Lives Better’, and this award is recognition that our efforts are
paying off,” said FBFC President & CEO Mark W. Mohr. “I am so proud of our employees and
the work they do to improve the communities we serve. I’m honored to work with them each and
every day”.

In addition to the awards themselves, the Nonprofit Excellence Awards program will include a
discussion about how psychological trauma effects Milwaukee and its workforce, featuring
Marquette University president Dr. Mike Lovell and REDgen president Amy Lovell.
