Fourth shareable video on ability to “Prosper” in the New North debuts
Au Naturale Cosmetics founder Ashley Prange discusses entrepreneurial climate in region
NEW NORTH, December 12, 2017 – The fourth in a series of short, shareable videos intended to help New North companies and organizations with talent recruitment now is available for use. Using the theme of “Prosper,” it features Ashley Prange, who has built up her highly successful start-up company, Au Naturale Cosmetics, in the region.
Organizations are encouraged to link their HR/career pages to all videos in the series, available on the New North website at www.lifeinthenewnorth.com, as well as to share the individual, one-minute videos on social media.
“Ashley is an outstanding illustration of how one can ‘Prosper’ in the New North,” says Jerry Murphy, executive director of New North Inc. “The business she has built, utilizing the resources of the region, is phenomenal. We are excited to showcase her story and hope that it resonates with those considering a move to the New North.”
A graduate of St. Norbert College, Prange founded Au Naturale Cosmetics in 2011 while living on the East Coast. She returned to her native Green Bay two years later to take advantage of the quality workforce, lower costs and welcoming climate for entrepreneurs within the New North region.
“I think an entrepreneur needs so many tools,” says Prange, who goes on to share in the video the support she has received from many, including New North Inc. “This region is so lucky to have so many incredible companies. The landscape here for business is so vast. I have high hopes for what the future will bring.”
Previous videos have featured Alonzo Highsmith of the Green Bay Packers discussing what it is like to “Live” in the New North, Marcus Dumke of Launch Wisconsin (now Kinnektor) on the regional entrepreneurial community in “Achieve” and Fox Cities community leader Adrienne Palm on “Play” opportunities in the New North.
The remaining two videos will carry the themes of “Belong” and “Impact,” and will be rolled out roughly once per month. All of the videos are designed to complement the New North online recruitment tool, 'Life in the New North.'
Each of the videos is being shot and produced by Silent H Studio of Green Bay.
