Security Health Plan: Individual and family coverage will be available in three additional counties for 2018

MARSHFIELD – Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has announced its individual and family plans will be available in three additional counties on the Health Insurance Marketplace (HealthCare.gov) in 2018. The plan will expand into Buffalo, Florence and Menominee counties.

With 14 plan options available, named Select, residents in these three counties, as well as the 30 other counties where Security Health Plan is available, can choose a plan that fits their health care needs and budget. With all Security Health Plan options, members will appreciate benefits and services such as easy-to-understand benefit statements, accurate and on-time claims payments, friendly and knowledgeable customer service, a 24-hour Nurse Line, access to care management and wellness services, and worldwide emergency and urgent care coverage.

The Select product is an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) network, which provides medical coverage within a select network of high-quality providers. Included in this network are Marshfield Clinic Health System, Ministry Health Care, Essentia Health, most OakLeaf Medical Network providers, Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and St. Joseph Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

The Open Enrollment Period for 2018 is Nov. 1 through Dec. 15, 2017, for coverage effective Jan. 1, 2018.
