Menasha – Network Health’s Medicare PPO (preferred provider organization) plans have received a 4.5 out of 5.0 rating from the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Medicare Health Insurance Plan Ratings 2016-2017.

Annual NCQA scores are based on more than 60 standards in the categories of consumer satisfaction, prevention and treatment. Ratings are given on a scale of zero to five, with five being the highest rating. More than 90 percent of health plans in America apply for annual rating through the NCQA, making the NCQA ratings an apples-to-apples comparison of health plans and their services.

Network Health received high quality ratings in many areas, including a 5.0 in the areas of receiving care easily and overall satisfaction with physicians. Members also gave Network Health a 5.0 rating in overall satisfaction with plan services. Network Health’s PPO plans are the most highly rated PPO plans in the state, and are rated within the top Medicare Advantage plans in Wisconsin.

Network Health insures more than 63,000 lives on its Medicare Advantage PPO plans. The company began offering Medicare Advantage coverage in northeast Wisconsin in 2005. Network Health’s Medicare Advantage service area was expanded this year to cover five counties in southeast Wisconsin. Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington and Waukesha counties now have access to Network Health’s highly-rated Medicare Advantage PPO plans.
