Milwaukee (November 29, 2016) – Michael Best is pleased to announce Deanne L. Robison has joined the firm as an attorney in the Estate & Wealth Planning Services & Succession Planning practice. Robison advises clients on estate and wealth planning matters, focusing her practice on wealth transfer, estate administration, and elder law.
Robison has comprehensive experience in assisting clients in their goals to transfer wealth. She handles all aspects of estate and wealth planning, including preparation of trusts, powers of attorney, and health care documents; estate and trust administration; Probate Court litigation, including guardianships and adoptions; and estate and gift taxation.
Prior to joining Michael Best, she was an attorney with the largest pre-paid legal services program in the United States (serving unionized staff), where she represented plaintiffs and defendants in divorce and dissolutions, custody, child support, paternity, and probate proceedings.
Robison earned her J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and her B.S. in Criminal Justice from West Chester University. She is a member of various legal associations, including the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Waukesha Bar Association, and Pi Alpha Delta Fraternity.
