Edgewood College: Smith & Gesteland Scholarship winners announced

Madison, Wis. (August 29, 2016) – Thanks to the generosity of Madison accounting firm Smith & Gesteland, five more students in the School of Business at Edgewood College are enjoying some extra support in their education.

Aliou Traore, a new student in the Master of Science in Accountancy program, was awarded a $10,000 scholarship. Charles Moore, a student in the Master of Science in Organizational Development program, Master of Business Administration students Jamie Piantino and Angela Roidt, and Emily Konkol, a student in the Master of Science in Accountancy program were each awarded $5,000 scholarships.

“The College’s commitment to helping develop ethical leaders, who thrive in collaborative settings, mirrors our own,” Neil Fauerbach, Partner and Director of Business Development at Smith & Gesteland said. “We look forward to the great work these students are doing, and will continue to do, to enhance and support their communities.” Fauerbach, himself a graduate of the MBA program at the College, currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Edgewood College.

2016 marks the third consecutive year of the Smith & Gesteland Scholarship program.
