Blackhawk to host Veterans Fair
JANESVILLE, WI – – Blackhawk Technical College will connect area veterans and their families to a wide variety of services Saturday, May 14, when it plays host to its Veterans Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon in the Commons of the BTC Central Campus.
Almost 60 organizations and businesses have agreed to appear at the Fair and offer information on financial, legal, educational, legal, and mental and physical health services that veterans and family members can take advantage of.
The event is free and open to the public. Data Dimensions of Janesville is a corporate sponsor of the event.
Door prizes will be raffled and each veteran will receive a free raffle ticket upon admission. Janesville’s WJJO-FM will be doing a live remote from the Fair.
