VRC Hosts Second Executive Education Series

Valuing Customer-Related Intangibles on October 22

Session part of an ongoing series for owners, executives, financial, accounting, and tax professionals

Milwaukee, WI, (October 2, 2015) – Valuation Research Corporation (VRC), a leading provider of independent valuation services to U.S. and international businesses for more than 40 years, will host its second Executive Education Series: Valuing Customer-Related Intangibles. The session is scheduled for October 22 at the Milwaukee Athletic Club from 3:00 to 5:30 pm. Click here to register.

In a purchase price allocation, customer-related intangibles are often assigned a significant portion of the total fair market value. In some businesses, however, this may not be warranted. Experts, Dick Gorski and Jim Budyak, along with guest panelists from Generac, will discuss methods used to value customer-related intangibles, including VRC’s valuation for Generac’s recent acquisition of Consumer Home Products. They will also discuss recent trends and where certain methods are most applicable.

VRC’s Executive Education Series offers access to thought leaders in the areas of law, accounting, business valuation, mergers & acquisitions and much more. Sessions are designed for financial, accounting and tax professionals, leadership executives and owners of both privately-held and public companies. New sessions are held on a bi-monthly basis and may offer CLE credits when available. Enrollment is limited.

Said Bryan Browning, managing director of VRC, “Because financial reporting and fair value valuation needs and requirements continue to evolve, we have designed this series to provide business leaders with a learning opportunity that helps enhance their knowledge on a variety of topics. We believe that offering a platform that delivers the most current business valuation industry trends and information from peer users and professional practitioners, helps our clients in making sound, informed decisions that will further grow and drive their business forward.”
